Question:
Hello Amanda. I saw your profile on the Viral Marketing forum. Anywho, that’s not the reason I’m writing you. I’ve been looking into Ghostwriting and Doing freelance writing work, be it blogging, Copy editing, or anything related to that. I was curious on if you ghostwrite or do anything similar. I’d appreciate any type of feedback, and I look forward to hear from you.

Answer:
Hi Derek,
Thank you for your e-mail. To answer your questions on ghostwriting:
I am a professional ghostwriter and this is what I do for a living. If you are interested in getting into this type of work then I highly recommend it. I have been able to quit my day job and work from home by ghostwriting. The types of jobs I do include:
E-books
Articles
Blog posts
press releases
Sales copy
Website Content
Really anything that needs to be written.
Just to say, ghostwriting and freelance writing are different although many people assume that they are the same. Ghostwriting is where you will write something for a client for a fee. With freelance writing you are not guaranteed payment and there is a lot of work involved in sending out query letters to editors and they may not accept your work. If you are looking on the internet however, both ghostwriting and freelance writing are categorized as being the same in that if you look for freelance writing jobs you will get ghostwriting jobs listed.
If you are really serious about pursuing this as a way of making extra money or indeed as a full time job then I would highly recommend that you check out my website Ghostwriting Uncovered.com and take a look at my ebook, http://www.ghostwritinguncovered.com/sl.html this book explains in simple english in a step by step format how to start, build, and maintain a ghostwriting career. The book also covers writers markets and show you how to place bids on jobs, what websites to join, and so on.
You can also join my newsletter where you will receive tips and advice on ghostwriting.
Should you have any other questions, please feel free to e-mail me and I will do my best to answer them.
Kind regards,
Amanda Evans
