Email Cover Letter For Medical Sales Associate

Sarah knows her email cover has to be good, and it needs to be concise. Recruiters are busy people. So she makes her email quick to read by inserting dash points that show how she is different from the average medical sales person.

Notice that this is being sent to a company’s internal recruiter — someone who works in the Human Resources Department, specializing in recruitment. Since Sarah didn’t know the person’s name, she started her email with “Dear Recruiter.” That’s much better than the old-fashioned opening, “Dear Madam or Sir.” Of course, when she responds to the recruiter’s email to her, she’ll know his or her name and will be able to use it in her salutation.

Here’s Sarah’s email cover letter.

Dear Recruiter,
Please consider me for the medical sales associate position you advertised on your website. I am available for employment immediately; and I would consider relocating to another city in the southeastern United States.

Here’s a snapshot of my qualifications:
– Energetic sales professional with a knack for matching the right products with customers.
– Consistently generated highest sales on my team.
– More than two years as a medical doctor in hospitals and clinics.

Thank you for reviewing the attached resume and cover letter. I’m eager to start selling the excellent products created by ABC Medical Manufacturing. My phone number is 123-555-1234.
